As a basketball player and point guard for 18+ years, Sam’s role on the court was to be a leader, facilitator, and to put teammates in positions where they could be successful. Today, in his role with The Bulfinch Group, he is grateful to have that same opportunity to partner with young professionals and families and help guide them towards financial and lifestyle success.
Sam enjoys working with young professionals and families in the early stages of their careers, including medical residents/fellows, physician assistants, and others looking to get off on the right foot financially. As a millennial himself, he values the opportunity to work with clients experiencing the same life events and helping them navigate the various twists and turns that inevitably show up along the way.
When he is not working, Sam enjoys playing golf, trying new restaurants, local breweries, and traveling when possible. He’s an avid Boston sports fan and also enjoys giving back to his community, riding alongside his girlfriend Marissa in the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s annual Cycle for Life event. Together, they have raised over $22,000 for the MA CF Foundation.
Sam earned a Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) from Babson College in Wellesley, MA, where he was a member of the varsity basketball team that won a national championship in 2017. Sam has also earned the prestigious Wealth Management Certified Professional (WMCP®) designation. Sam and Marissa recently purchased their first home and live in Mansfield, MA with their dog Ziggy.
