At The Bulfinch Group, my team and I help design and implement financial strategies for individuals, families, and small business owners who seek to maximize wealth and protection, reduce risk and proactively make financial decisions from a position of strength.
I use a comprehensive planning model that focuses on three core principles:
- Wants vs. Needs
Challenging traditional needs-based planning: helping my clients reach their best potential outcomes under most foreseeable circumstances by educating them on how to spend and enjoy their hard-earned savings without sacrificing legacy.
- Financial Order & Balance
Planning in the right order: protecting your life’s work first, before allocating assets.
- Rate of Savings before Rate of Return
Reducing or eliminating known risks: rate of savings is more important than traditionally “chasing” rates of return.
Through a tailor-made, wide-angle approach, our planning process begins with financial organization. By using The Living Balance Sheet®, my clients are able to take control over their wealth by viewing their entire financial picture in one central location. Through this customized process, I gain a comprehensive understanding of my client’s purpose and goals, then co-create a plan that seeks to simultaneously protect and grow wealth while reducing risk.
When I’m not working, I like to try different restaurants, travel, and enjoy sports a little too much: whether it’s basketball, fantasy football or playoff hockey, if there’s a game on, I’m usually watching it. I also coach high school basketball in Franklin, the same program I participated in growing up. I feel blessed to have a career that builds meaningful relationships, and that allows me to follow my passion for assisting, educating and coaching those within my community.
