Helping people get their financial life in balance.
A recent addition to The Bulfinch Group, Margaret Ellison Simonds’ driving passion is to help people in all stages of life make informed financial decisions so they can enjoy their lives and feel confident about their financial future.
No one can predict the future, nor control all the variables that impact it, such as taxes, inflation, medical costs, the economy, our health, income and family needs. But Margaret and her talented team at The Bulfinch Group can organize your financial world and help you prepare for the future by showing you how to properly protect your assets, and optimize your cash flow, savings and financial strategies so you can feel well-poised and ready for whatever lies ahead personally, professionally, and financially.
“I love what I do, because my clients say I help them get their financial life in balance. My goal is to help all my clients feel confident that whenever they stop working, whether by choice or by chance, their families will have enough income to do all the things they want in life, while enjoying the highest cash flow, lowest taxes and least amount of risk.”
With over 20 years in the industry, Margaret is no stranger to financial services. She comes from a large family of trusted financial professionals, with almost 200 years of combined experience helping families and business owners accumulate and preserve wealth. Margaret proudly follows in the footsteps of her father George H. Ellison, Sr., a General Agent with New England Life for over 40 years, and four of her nine (yes, NINE!) siblings.
Margaret is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology. She served on the Board of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors in Washington, DC and Boston. Margaret is also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 209 in Dover, MA, supporting local Veterans organizations, and the Executive Women’s Golf Association.
Born and raised in Dover, MA, Margaret currently resides in Newton, MA, with her husband Chuck and their American Curls named King and Angel. They have a daughter Savannah, as well as 13 nieces and nephews whom they love like their own. When she and Chuck are not cheering for their beloved Boston sports teams, Margaret loves photography, graphic design, singing, golfing, traveling and spending time with friends and family.
